Jade

Jade is best known as a green ornamental stone in Asian art. Its color varies from light to dark green, but the most exspensive colors are pure white, deep transparent green and purple-lavender. Jade is actually the common name of two different types of minerals, Jadeite and Nephrite. Jadeite is the most desirable with its translucent emerald-green color, and this valuable type is called Imperial Jade.
Jadeite consists of extremely tightly packed microscopic crystals which gives it good hardness and is at the same time suitable for cutting.

At Samsara Jewellery we only purchase the best Jadeite on the market, either in the form of exquisite natural gemstones or as rare ancient Jadeite. Our Jadeite gemstones are either in brilliant cut shape or in the form of gem balls. The carat weight is 0.01-6.0 carat.
